Paris Silver Project

The Paris Silver Project, 100% owned by Investigator Silver (ASX:IVR) and located in South Australia, is one of Australia’s highest-grade undeveloped primary silver assets, hosting a JORC-compliant 57-million-ounce silver resource. A pre-feasibility study demonstrated robust economics, with approximately $500 million in free cash flow at a silver price of US$22/oz; at today’s prices above US$60/oz, projected free cash flow increases by more than $1 billion. A Definitive Feasibility Study is now underway to capture this price-driven upside, and in parallel the permitting process has commenced to fast-track silver production. Paris offers Australia’s only pure-silver development, combining high grades, strong economics, a supportive jurisdiction, and substantial district-scale growth potential through the 15 km Paris Silver Corridor.

Project dependencies

The Paris Silver Project has minimal external dependencies due to its strong economics, low capital intensity and simple open-pit development pathway. The only material dependency is the State Government permitting process—specifically the Mining Lease Application (MLA), Native Title Mining Agreement (NTMA) and subsequent Program for Environment Protection and Rehabilitation (PEPR). These approvals are well-defined within South Australia’s regulatory framework and are progressing in parallel with the Definitive Feasibility Study. Once permitting is secured, the project is fully positioned to proceed to construction.

Technology utilised

The Paris Silver Project employs fully mature, low-risk technologies with no novel or unproven components. Mining will be via a straightforward open-pit operation using conventional drill-and-blast and truck-and-shovel methods widely utilised across Australia. Processing will use a traditional cyanide leach circuit - standard technology that has been successfully applied for decades across silver and gold operations nationally. The simplicity of the flowsheet and the reliance on proven, off-the-shelf equipment significantly reduces technical risk and supports a rapid, predictable pathway to development and operation.

Project highlights

  • The Paris Silver Project represents the only pure-silver development opportunity in Australia, offering exposure to a critical metal within a Tier-1 investment jurisdiction renowned for its stability, transparency and strong support for the resources sector. More than 75% of global silver supply originates from Latin America, Russia and China—regions often associated with higher geopolitical and operational risk. Paris therefore provides a uniquely low-risk, mature-jurisdiction alternative for investors seeking leverage to silver, underpinned by South Australia's world-class regulatory environment and mining ecosystem.
  • The project is led by a management team with a proven track record of successful project delivery in South Australia. The proponents have previously taken mining operations from exploration through feasibility, permitting, construction and into positive cash flow within this same jurisdiction. This demonstrated capability materially reduces execution risk and provides confidence in the timely and efficient development of the Paris Silver Project.
