Andromeda Metals' Great White Project - Kaolin
The Great White Project (GWP) is located on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia and is a high-grade kaolin project with a 28 year mine-life.
The GWP is based on the Great White deposit which contains high-quality kaolin that, when refined through on-site wet processing, produces kaolin products that can be used in high-end applications in the ceramics and concrete markets.
The high-quality refined kaolin products from the GWP have been validated by global ceramics industry experts and customers.
Future upside opportunities for GWP include additional expansion and new, high-value added products, such as the production of the Critical Mineral high-purity alumina (HPA).
The GWP is planned to be developed over stages to produce refined kaolin products of up to 330,000 tonnes per annum (tpa), as follows:
• Stage 1A+ 100 ktpa of production
• Stage 1B an additional 110 ktpa of production
• Stage 2 an additional 120 ktpa of production.
The GWP has been largely de-risked and is ready to develop, with:
• All key permits in place for construction to commence
• Feasibility studies completed; and
• Major offtakes finalised for the initial stage of production (Stage 1A+).
Andromeda aims to secure A$90 million in funding, plus financing costs, interest and cash reserves, to support a final investment decision for Stage 1A+, which includes A$84M in CAPEX.
Of this, credit approval has been received from Merricks Capital for a A$75 million debt facility with a process underway to secure the remaining balance of funding required.
Investment sought: A$90 million, excluding financing costs, interest and cash reserves, which includes A$84M in CAPEX for Stage 1A+.
