The Invest In South Australia site can be used anonymously without providing personal information or you can sign up as a registered user if you want access to more relevant, personalised or additional content and services through the site.

This site collects and uses the following information from users:
  • A record of your visit and logs the following information (clickstream data) - your IP address, the date and time of your visit to the site, the pages you accessed and documents downloaded, the previous website you visited and the type of browser and device you used. We use third party web traffic analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) that may collect and process the following information when you visit the site: name of your ISP; your IP address; country you are visiting from; how much time spent on which parts of the site; links you click on and in which order; mouse movements and scrolling activity on our pages; device screen size and resolution; type of device and its operating system; any voluntary feedback you provide on your user experience.  We use third party pixel tags to benefit from the services of web analytics and targeted content providers (e.g. LinkedIn).  We do not obtain personally identifiable information from the pixel tags.  We use cookies to “remember” your browser between page visits, which identifies your browser, not you personally.
  • No attempt will be made to identify anonymous users or their browsing activities except, in the unlikely event of an investigation, where a law enforcement agency may exercise a warrant to inspect our service provider's logs.
  • The site retains the email address of people who send emails through the 'Complaints and feedback' form, for the purpose of sending a response. They are stored in a secure area within the Government of South Australia's message services system and will not be used for any other purpose, nor disclosed without your consent.
  • Such information may or may not be personal information for the purpose of the IPPs. Nonetheless, you consent to the use of this information to establish ownership of the material and to enable site administrators to contact website administrators/content owners, to confirm (or not) the website registration and advise them of the link being published on this site. The information is then kept for contact purposes in the course of monitoring site currency. The information is stored in a secure area of the site's system.
  • This site uses third party authentication services (e.g. LinkedIn) to sign up and register users and subscribers.  When you choose to sign up or subscribe we collect personal information about you, which may include: your name, photo, email address, phone number, country of origin, employment, project activities and commercial investment activities, interests and preferences.  By signing up you consent to us collecting your personal information and using it for the purposes of understanding the type of information and activity you may choose to participate in when engaging with the site content, social networks and other services.  This information helps us to provide a better service, relevant content and improve how and when we communicate with you. For this purpose, you consent to us merging your personally identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information collected from third party analytics and targeted content providers (e.g. Google Analytics, LinkedIn) that permit us to do so with your consent.

Your personal information will not be disclosed to a third party except in accordance with the IPPs.
