A partnership between an innovative South Australian start-up business and a local company is expected to create up to 300 jobs within two years. ScreenAway, the developer of a unique type of retractable flyscreen and block-out blind system, has joined with the company to manufacture the ground-breaking product
In classic Australian style, Screenaway founder John Riemelmoser invented the concept in his shed three years ago to meet consumer demand for flyscreens that are visually appealing and can be moved for window cleaning.
This invention has created an opportunity for a local company to manufacture a new product. The Government of South Australia worked closely with ScreenAway to understand its future business plans and connect them with the necessary contacts to develop the product.
